Cefixime has no such contraindications and bitter taste. It can be given to children from 6 month of age.

Cefixime is the most effective oral antibiotic in case of typhoid fever. It shows zero percent resistance to Salmonella typhi and ensures 100% clinical success. That why Cefixime is preferred in typhoid fever both adult and children.
